PhD (c) from the National University of Rosario, Argentina. Professor and researcher at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador (PUCE) for 20 years, teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Founder and first coordinator of the Applied Languages for Global Studies program at PUCE. One of the eight individuals responsible for designing the future of the Faculty of Communication, Linguistics, and Literature. In charge of the Global Citizenship Micro-credentials for the entire university (7 campuses). Practitioner of active learning methodologies such as COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) and Service-Learning (ApS). Director of several research projects and community engagement initiatives involving national and international partners. Accredited evaluator of the certificate “From Desk to Territory: Connecting Learning and Needs through Service-Learning” (Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, May–June 2022). Leader of the MAGIS Project (PUCE Strategic Planning 2021–2025) for the Faculty of Communication, Linguistics, and Literature. Member of the research group “Languages and Cultures in the Globalized World.”
